You can also add coconut oil which improves curcumin absorption. Black pepper also facilitates curcumin absorption, while lemon and ginger can increase antioxidant properties.

The golden paste is made with coconut oil and black pepper and it is a delicious addition to foods and drinks. It’s easy to make, simply heat water and turmeric powder in a pan to make a paste and then add the black pepper and coconut oil.

You can make a big batch and store it in the fridge. You can add the paste to peanut butter, yogurt (with honey), rice, smoothies, soups, and golden milk.
