You’re probably more familiar with canola or canola oil. It’s from a variety of rapeseed.
As for rapeseed, it’s also called Brassica napus. However, it’s more popularly marketed as rapeseed oil.
This is a list of the health benefits of rapeseed.
1. Rapeseed Is Good For Your Cardiovascular Health
Rapeseed or rapeseed oil is supposed to be good for your heart and your overall cardiovascular health.
It can help reduce cholesterol levels.
To add more, vitamin K present in this plant interacts with a certain protein that has anti-calcification effects in soft tissues like arteries and blood vessels.
This just means that it can help reduce blockage and hardening of your arteries and blood vessels.
