It’s another beautiful Wednesday to learn about the many health benefit of bael.

If you’re unfamiliar with Bael, it’s a fruit-bearing tree that’s native in the Indian subcontinent and Southeast Asia.

Other terms used for bael are Bengal quince, Bitter orange, Elephant’s apple, Japanese bitter apple, Maredoo, Stone apple, Wood apple, Wood stone, Opesheet, Berunoki, golden apple, Japanese bitter orange, and Aegle Marmelos.

This is a list of the health benefits of bael that I’ve compiled online.

1. Bael Contains Nutrients You Need For The Day

Bael fruit contains carbohydrates and proteins.

It also has vitamins C, some B-vitamins, and beta carotene.

It’s also a source of minerals like calcium, copper, iron, magnesium, potassium, and zinc.

2. Helps Boost Your Energy Levels

The combination of the nutrients you get from bael helps boost your energy levels for the day.

Some of the B-vitamins can stimulate metabolism to burn calories for energy.

Vitamin C and iron are helpful in keeping you less fatigue throughout the day.

3. Bael Is Good For Your Digestive System

Eating bael fruits can be helpful in maintaining the health of your digestive system as well as prevent common digestive disorders.

It is able to prevent both constipation and diarrhea which means you have regular normal bowel movements.

This can probably because of bael’s fiber contents as well as its mild laxative qualities.

Bael has been traditionally used for improved hair growth and health.

They mix bael fruit extracts with coconut oil and almond oil.

The mixture is then applied to your hair and scalp. Let it stay for a few minutes then wash off your hair.

I don’t think that I’d recommend doing something like this or that this is a good idea, but some texts will tell you that it works.

Conclusion

There were more health benefits of bael that I didn’t include because there were not many details about it.

But these have been so many already.

The best health benefit of bael on the list for me is its anti-inflammatory qualities and its potential to reduce uric acid levels in the body.

This is one of my primary health concerns at the moment.
